Rubin Kazan remain interested in Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse.
The Daily Star Sunday says Rubin Kazan will turn their sights to Newcastle's Cisse if a move for PSV Eindhoven striker Tim Matavz falls through.
Senegal star Cisse, 28, a £9.5m buy from German side Freiburg two years ago, is an option with Russia's transfer window open for another 11 days.
