Ruben Rochina is prepared to fight for his place at Blackburn Rovers.

The former Barcelona striker has been dropped to the bench in recent games.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I am not playing now but sometimes this is what happens in football.

"The manager decides who plays and I need to wait for my opportunity.

"I have confidence in myself but sometimes you need to play to take big confidence with you, it's the only thing.

"I am doing best my in training and every game but I can do nothing more, I will just wait for my opportunity and try to work harder."
