Ruben Loftus-Cheek has worked his way into Chelsea boss Antonio Conte's plans.
The Times says the England starlet has made a big impression on the former Juventus chief.
The Italian is now hoping the playmaker can develop into a key first-team player.
Loftus-Cheek was used sparingly under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink last season.
But he has impressed Conte in training and started the Blues' first pre-season fixture against Rapid Vienna last weekend.
