RSL's Findley confident things will improve at international level

Real Salt Lake striker Robbie Findley is confident he will continue to improve at international level after competing in his first World Cup match.

The 24-year old, who only represented the USA a handful of times prior to South Africa 2010, was impressive against England with his pace but did lack control with his first touch and finishing. However, he feels he did well and can see a strong partnership blossoming with fellow forward Jozy Altidore.

"I thought it went well," he told the Washington Post. "I was active, held the ball up. Jozy [Altidore] and I tried to connect on a few plays. We were looking for each other; the chemistry is building there."

Findley added that it was a great moment to compete against the top-class England players, many of whom he watches regularly on TV.

"I saw a whole bunch of guys that I have been watching," he said of the match. "I took it all in."
