Tony Beltran has replaced Brad Evans in the USA squad for this week's friendly with Mexico.
The Real Salt Lake defender has been added by Juergen Klinsmann after Seattle Sounders ace Evans pulled out with injury.
The US squad will assemble in Phoenix on Monday for this week's international meeting with arch rivals El Tri at the University of Phoenix.
Beltran has played twice for the USA, both in 2013, in a friendly with neighbours Canada in January and in a CONCACAF Gold Cup group stage win over Cuba in July.
