Real Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis has heaped praise on MLS expansion franchise Portland Timbers for the amazing show of support from their fans.
The Timbers won their third-straight match at their home of JELD-WEN Field when they defeated RSL 1-0 on the weekend and did it in front of another sellout crowd of over 18,000.
Kreis says the support shown for the Timbers in their first season is quite phenomenal.
"It's fantastic," Kreis said. "Portland should be proud of themselves, and the players should be thrilled that they get to play in this environment every week."
