Nike are planning a major marketing push for Manchester City's new star Raheem Sterling.

The Daily Mail says Nike plan to build a campaign for Sterling inspired by Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo's CR7 symbol.

The England international had RS7 - representing his initials and shirt number - etched into his boots for the weekend win over Chelsea.

And representatives from Nike are set to look at a campaign based on Sterling's version of Ronaldo's trademark.
