Former Newcastle United defender David Rozehnal is delighted with his loan move to Lazio.

The Czech Republic international said: "I love Italian football. I consider it better than the Spanish and even closer to my idea of football. That's why I was very happy when this opportunity to come to Lazio presented itself. Lazio is a great international club with a great history.

"Since arriving, I've noticed that the club has a good structure, an excellent technical staff and a large group of players who have made me feel at home, part of the squad. I am sure that I made the right choice."
