Everton development chief Joe Royle says utilising the loan system is crucial to their players' development.
Everton have sent a number of their under-21s players out on loan this month.
"It benefits the players, it benefits the loan club and we have seen before how the loan system can work in Everton's favour," Royle told the Liverpool Echo. "Seamus Coleman went to Blackpool and Ross Barkley to Sheffield Wednesday, with both coming back to us as first-team players.
"That's my job - I am constantly in touch with clubs to try to find clubs for our players and there are one or two others that we are looking at in terms of going out on loan [this season]."
