New Stoke City boss Gary Rowett plans to clearout a massive number of senior players.
The Mirror says Rowett will be in charge of a massive summer of upheaval at Stoke City – with a brief to shed up to FIFTEEN first-teamers.
The club is expecting offers for several players – goalkeeper Jack Butland, playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri and midfielder Joe Allen are expected to be in hot demand.
However, Stoke are hoping to keep Allen, who is protected by a £25m buy-out clause – although that only comes into play if a bid from a top six club is received.
The decision-makers are hoping to persuade him to stay for another season. He is settled in the area and despite interest from former boss Brendan Rodgers at Celtic, may buy into the new regime.
