Everton No2 Steve Round rates last summer's market their best ever.

Bryan Oviedo on deadline day followed Steven Pienaar, Steven Naismith and Kevin Mirallas into Everton during the transfer window.

Round said: "We may find getting Steven Naismith for nothing is one of the best signings of the summer.

"He's a player of that standard at that level who has slotted in so quickly into the Everton way. It was tremendous business.

"The two signings [Pienaar and Naismith] we made early on settled everyone down. The team is settled and you could sense that in the dressing room.

"We hadn't lost a star name, a Lescott or an Arteta.

"The team could see the club was showing some ambition and that gave quite a positive feel."
