Everton No2 Steve Round was happy with their performance for victory over FA Cup opponents Fulham.

Round was particularly pleased to see Denis Stracqualursi get his first goal in Everton colours after being handed a rare start.

"Denis worked really hard," stated Round to evertonfc.com. "He came over from Argentina on deadline day. We've seen in training that he's a really good finisher. He's got a tremendous work ethic. He's taken a while to come to the fore and settle down.

"Just recently he's just started to get to grips with it and time will tell if he can be a top forward for Everton. The lads love him, he never moans or complains. He's first into training and that's paying off."
