Chelsea midfielder John Swift has seen his loan with Rotherham United cut short.
The 20-year-old signed for the Millers in the summer on a six-month loan amid a bout of positivity but played just 144 minutes and has not featured since August 19.
A club statement read: "It was agreed to be in the best interests for all parties that the player could continue his development with his parent club, after the talented midfielder was unable to make a significant impact on the first team whilst with the Millers.
"We would like to thank John for his efforts whilst on loan with the Millers, and wish him the very best of luck in his career."
