Rotherham in Leeds talks over permanent Wootton deal

Rotherham United are expected to sign permanently Leeds United defender Scott Wootton.

The former Manchester United stopper has returned to Leeds after completing his loan spell at Rotherham but could head back to the New York Stadium on a permanent basis.

The 23-year-old defender played his last game for Rotherham in Saturday's defeat at Brentford, although the two clubs are said to be in talks over a permanent deal.

Wootton left Liverpool for United as a teenager before joining Leeds in 2013.
