League OneRotherham boss Steve Evans has hinted at a player arriving from Manchester United shortly. The Millers took on a United XI in a behind-closed-doors friendly last week and Evans struck up a friendship with David Moyes.

"We might try to do business with them," Evans said. "Their players are sought after, but David Moyes is well aware of our stadium and what the chairman has done here and he was impressed with us.

"The conversation developed quickly and very interestingly."
