Rotherham boss targets promotion to celebrate new stadium

Rotherham boss Andy Scott is aiming for promotion so the club can enjoy League One football in their new 12,000 all-seater ground for the 2012/13 campaign. The Millers have been playing at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield since 2008 and Scott's focus is on ending his side's time in the Steel City on a high.

"It's coming on really well," he told Sportinglife.com.

"They're working so hard on it and it gives you a real lift every time you go past.

"It will be nice to get back to Rotherham and play in our own stadium in our own town and in a brand new facility that people can look on with envy.

"My aim is to get us there in League One and we're doing everything we can to make sure that we start off in the right frame of mind for that.

"I'm very enthusiastic about the whole project and the whole club and what we're doing with it and I think that rubs off on people."
