Rot-Weiss Essen chief Michael Welling admits joking with Arsenal star Mesut Ozil about him moving to PSG.

RWE pocketed a massive €680,000 when Ozil moved to the Gunners from Real Madrid inn 2013.

Ozil is still in contact with his old club and Weling admits they've joked about his next move.

"Last time, we discussed and laughed, we said it was time to join PSG to develop his personality and brand," said Welling.

"But I think, actually, the sportsmanship argument will be decisive."
