Genoa captain Marco Rossi has signed a new contract.

The extension will tie Rossi to Genoa until the end of June 2011, when he will be 33.

"I am extremely happy that the club have given the confirmation of my contract extension," Rossi said.

"My only desire and objective remains to contribute everything I can to the Grifone cause."
