Rossi says Villarreal must keep feet on ground

Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi says it's important the players stay grounded after their impressive season so far.

The Yellow Submarine are third in the Primera Division standings and last night secured themselves first place in Europa League Group D after bouncing back from a goal down to beat Club Brugge 2-1 in Belgium.

Rossi, who scored both his side's goals to take his tally to 13 for the season in all competitions, was pleased with the victory but was keen to point out there is still a long way to go before they can start celebrating.

"We're all very happy because we're first in the group and we won a tough game. These three points give us confidence for next Saturday and to continue forward. I'm happy for the game, for the victory," he said on his club's website.

"I think that we need to forget about Europe now and already start thinking about Mallorca. I'm happy for the goals, but we have to continue like this because we haven't achieved anything for now."
