Delio Rossi rapped his Palermo players, despite victory over Fiorentina.
The Sicilians earned a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina, their second consecutive away win after a 3-1 at Juventus.
"We are a side who play great football, but honestly many times we are a bit too narcissistic," said the Coach.
"After a stellar first half performance, we struggled in the second. I have players with certain characteristics and it's up to me to put them together into a unit, but they've got to help me out too."
Squad rotation is crucial and Rossi had a warning for his players.
"I will pick those who are in best shape and most useful for the team. When someone signs a contract, he knows he must earn his place and competition is healthy.
"If somebody expects a first team shirt to be God-given, then he'd best go to play in a lower League."
