Palermo coach Delio Rossi says his players do not possess the ruthless streak needed to be a title challenging team.
The Rosanero thrashed Juventus 3-1 in Turin on Thursday evening, but today had to fight back from 2-0 down to earn a point against minnows Lecce.
Rossi lamented: "We're not lacking in initiative, but we need greater determination and grit. That is true. I don't think we will ever be a clinical side.
"The first goal was a lucky ricochet for Lecce, while we should've been more concentrated on the second.
"We've got to take the blame, as we cannot keep facing games that are uphill struggles. It's difficult to work on these issues when we already have to turn our attention to the Europa League.
"Obviously by playing with two trequartisti, it will take a little while to get the movement right."
