Delio Rossi is favourite for the Palermo job.
After their 1-1 draw with Catania, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini admitted he was "considering" the future of coach Walter Zenga.
Rossi remains available after leaving Lazio last summer and is now said to be favourite to succeed Zenga if he is shown the door today.
