Lazio coach Delio Rossi has called on his players to stick together ahead of their Champions League clash with Werder Bremen.

The Rome club have suffered four defeats in the last five games and Rossi admits: "We need to get through this tough period.

"Luckily we play every three days instead of every four years like in athletics.

"We are playing and giving our all, but these defeats haven't helped us.

"Things aren't going well, but I don't want to pick over the good and the bad and divide in two because our message is one of unity."
