Ross County midfielder Iain Vigurs has made it fervently clear that a recent link to Tottenham was merely speculation.
The 24-year old has been in fine form in the Scottish Premier League this season after helping the Staggies gain promotion to the top flight last term, so much so that a rumour regarding a winter move to Spurs was circling.
But Vigurs has insisted that was never the case and suggests he is simply content playing football for County.
"Everything that was said during the transfer window was just rumour and speculation," he told SunSport.
"I was just chilling on the couch waiting to see what happened with other transfers.
"I'm just happy to play football here. I'm not really bothered with anything else at the moment, to be honest.
"There were all sort of stories flying around, obviously.
"My brother said someone had me at White Hart Lane. I was like 'What? Was I delivering something?' It is funny.
"It is crazy what rumours go about. It is always good to be talked about but until something is in front of you and done and dusted, you can't really say anything.
"I haven't been offered anything yet by the club, but they said they do want me which is always a bonus. I wouldn't move just for the sake of it. If I am going to move, it will have to be the right one because Ross County is a great club."
