Rosicky could return within eight weeks

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has undergone surgery to fix a tendon injury but it is not as bad as first envisaged.

"The situation looks very positive," said Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

"They have taken a lot of scar tissue out of his leg and the vibes I got from the surgeon were very positive.

"I think he could return between six to eight weeks."
