Rosenior says Hull must build gradually

Hull City fullback Liam Rosenior says the squad should continue to be improved gradually.

Rosenior was part of the FA Cup finalists defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "We have got to make sure we stay in the league. I have seen plenty of teams get above their station and before they know it, they are in the Championship.

"The best way to do it is to build slowly. It's a case of adding players because when you lose the heart and soul of the team, that's when things go awry.

"It's great; Hull City in Europe. A lot of fans have told me they are getting their passports ready and that is what football is about, making people proud and dreaming about things.

"We want to do it again and grow. We can't sit still and pat ourselves on the back, we've got to go again stronger next year."
