Reading new boy Liam Rosenior believes his side have got what it takes to climb up the Premier League table.
The Royals were the surprise package of the previous campaign, exceeding all expectations following their first promotion into the top flight to finish in eighth place.
However, following the 2-1 defeat at Sunderland on Saturday, the Royals are now in the bottom three after winning just one of the opening six matches.
"Every team in the Premiership will go through a bad run - even two or three bad runs. It is how you bounce back from them," he said.
"We're positive lads and positive as a group - and I think that the last half hour at Sunderland showed that."
