Mix Diskerud says he loves the challenge that comes with playing for the USA national team.
Diskerud and his US teammates next take on the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on Tuesday following Friday's narrow 2-1 defeat to Colombia in London and the Rosenborg midfielder is eagerly anticipating another stern test.
"It helps a lot when you play against a top three team [Colombia] in the world and you learn a lot," said the 24-year old.
"For me, it definitely was an experience and I know where the bar is set right now and where the best players are at.
"Going forward, and playing this game against Ireland, I know and the rest of the players as well, where the highest tempo is and how it should be played."
