West Bromwich Albion signing Markus Rosenberg has urged fellow Swede Jonas Olsson to stay at the Hawthorns.

Olsson, 29, is refusing to sign an extension to his current deal.

Rosenberg will do everything he can to change his team-mate's mind.

The ex-Ajax hitman, 29, said: "We stayed ­together during the Euros.

"Everything he said about West Brom was positive, so it must be up to me to try to talk him into staying here."
