Barcelona are chasing Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.
Marca says Barca are eyeing the Argentina captain as a replacement for Manchester City bound Yaya Toure.
Mascherano is in talks with Inter Milan as Liverpool seek to raise around €30 million from his sale.
Now, however, new Barca president Sandro Rosell is also moving to Mascherano, who came close to joining the Liga champs last summer.
