Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says Tito Vilanova will remain coach next season.

Rosell is delighted with the way the club has stood by their coach.

He said: "He's doing well. We know that he'll have to return to New York for a couple of weeks for routine check-ups. No doctor has said that he cannot continue to be a manager.

"The decision that makes us most proud is standing by Tito and keeping him as manager when news of his illness became public.

"Tito plays an absolute role in the team planning."
