New Barcelona president Sandro Rosell may block Yaya Toure's move to Manchester City.
A deal taking the Ivory Coast midfielder to Eastland is all but agreed, but the 27-year-old's representative Dimitri Selcuk insisted there could yet be a U-turn.
Toure's involvement in the World Cup ended on Friday and he is now set for talks with Rosell before rubber-stamping his exit from the champions of Spain.
Selcuk said: "Yes, we need to talk, but of course reality can change in a moment. Yaya wants to play. It's not a question of money. I haven't signed anything."
