Official release from Central Coast Mariners FC
Central Coast Mariners are delighted to confirm that exciting left-back Joshua Rose has agreed terms to stay with the Hyundai A-League's pacesetters until 2015.
Rose has become a mainstay of the Mariners' defence since becoming Graham Arnold's first signing in 2010, and has also established himself as a firm fan favourite among the Bluetongue Stadium faithful.
The speedy, attack-minded yet tactically astute defender's name has been mentioned in Qantas Socceroos circles since arriving on the Central Coast from Romania, and while he is yet to make his debut for Holger Osieck's side, it appears Rose is in the frame for any Hyundai A-League squad selected by the German manager.
An elated Rose today said he was happy to secure his future at a club that he feels "settled" at, and a community he feels at home in.
"My wife and I have bought a house here (on the Coast). The football side of things, with a coach like 'Arnie' (Graham Arnold), it's all going along pretty smooth.
"The Club suits me well, and if you are happy you play your best football.""Obviously with my young boys it's good to have that stability," Rose said. "We are nice and settled here, so we are very happy.
