Rory Donnelly pleased with first month at Swansea

Swansea City January signing Rory Donnelly is happy with his first weeks at the club.

Donnelly insists there is no pressure from Swans boss Brendan Rodgers to make the jump into the first team and is happy featuring in the club's reserve side for now.

"Brendan (Rodgers) has said he's not putting any pressure on me," he told the South Wales Evening Post. "He doesn't want me to be in the first team now. There's no pressure on me.

"He said 'just keep on doing what you're doing and we'll see if you can get in next year'.

"Swansea give youth a chance to play really good football."
