The Mirror says last night Coleen was being comforted by her family after leaving the couple's £4.5million Cheshire mansion.
Rooney had spent the weekend there on the phone trying to convince her to give their marriage another chance.
Ian Monk, spokesman for both Rooney and his wife, said: "There is nothing to discuss and we have no statement to make at the moment. That is for both of them."
