Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is convinced they will continue to improve going into next season.
Rooney reckons the Reds are only going to get better next year, following the emergence of a number of youngsters this term.
"Over the course of the season the manager has put a lot of the younger players in and it has worked," he told talkSPORT. "The likes of Chris Smalling, Javier Hernandez, Darron Gibson, Chris Smalling have done great and we've managed to get the results we needed. The future looks good for us. We're definitely on the up."
