Rooney misses Man Utd training ahead of Ajax clash

Wayne Rooney was missing from Manchester United’s training session today ahead of tomorrow night’s meeting with Ajax.

The England striker was absent as the Red Devils trained at Carrington prior to the Europa League Round of 32 second leg at Old Trafford on Thursday.

Rooney was the only notable absentee as United look to progress to the Round of 16 with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg in Amsterdam last week.
