Rooney: Man Utd experience gives us title edge

Wayne Rooney says Manchester United’s experience gives them the edge in the title battle.

Rooney is convinced their title know-how is an advantage on Manchester City.

The England striker said: "We have players who haven't won the title before and are bursting to play their part in helping us to win it.

"And then you've got the experienced lads like Giggsy and Scholesy who have won it many times and are still hungry for more.

"There's a good mixture in the squad in that sense and hopefully it will stand us in good stead."
