The Football Association has launched an investigation into a coin-throwing incident at Crystal Palace on Saturday. Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney was the target of a number of Palace fans when he took a corner during the Premier League match.
The Selhurst Park club are unlikely to be charged unless an investigation decides the club was negligent but it is hoped that CCTV footage may be able to identify the culprits for prosecution.
