Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney has broken another record this week.
When the United hitman netted his streaky effort he set a new best of nine goals in a World Cup qualification campaign.
That surpassed the eight set by United legend Tommy Taylor in the run-up to the 1958 finals.
Taylor died in the Munich air disaster not long after he set his record.
Rooney had no idea he had set a new mark when he tapped in a miscued clearance from the Croatia keeper. But he is now aiming to reach double figures in the remaining two qualification games.
He admitted: "I didn't know about that record at first but now it's something I'm proud of.
"I hope I can get to double figures. There are two games left so you never know.
"I'm sure the manager will try different things but, hopefully, I can get a few more goals."
