Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney admits they're rank outsiders in their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich. Bayern will defend a 1-1 first-leg result next week in Munich.
Rooney admitted it will require the greatest European performance he has been involved in to go through - one even better than the 5-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen in November.
"The chance to knock them out is a massive incentive," he said. "It will keep our season alive. We're looking forward to it.
"No disrespect to Leverkusen, but Bayern are a different level. We know they will have a lot of possession but we'll defend well and try to hit them on the break."
