Rooney accepts "massive week" ahead for Man Utd

Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney accepts they face a massive week ahead.

The England striker said: "It's a massive week for us. We've got the FA Cup on Saturday, Champions League Wednesday and Liverpool Saturday, so it's a massive week for us.

"We have to make sure we prepare right for these games and do OK."

The champions have a seven-point lead and a game in hand over Liverpool and Chelsea but Rooney insists they are not over the line yet.

He added: "Can I see any way we won't win the title? I'm not sure.

"There are still 11 games to go and a lot can happen but, obviously, we are in a good position at the top of the league.

"But we have to make sure we stay focused from now until the end of the season and be professional.

"Hopefully, if we do that we can retain the title.

"We're in a good position at the minute, we just have to keep playing our football and hopefully we'll be OK."
