Ronaldo wants to quit Real Madrid for Man Utd return, despite PSG riches

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will reject any new contract offer and push for a return to Manchester United at the end of the season. With Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG monitoring developments, AS says Ronaldo will not accept any offer from Real to renew his current deal.

PSG have the spending power to meet any asking price for Ronaldo and the club's owner Sheikh Saud Al-Thani have already declared their interest in the player and his Real coach Jose Mourinho.

However, a return to United is his first option.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has talked up Ronaldo since they were drawn together in the Champions League, while Patrice Evra went a step further.

Quoted by AS, the French fullback declared: "I maintain contact with Cristiano and have spoken to him many times. We want him at United and miss him. He has done amazing things in Madrid and has broken all possible records, but they have not shown all the respect he deserves ... "
