Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo admits the emotion of his return to Manchester United last week affected his performance. Ronaldo netted the winner on the night, but was subdued.
He said: "I'm sorry for Manchester United but I've done my job, and I'm happy for the whole team." He also confessed to being weighed down by the atmosphere, adding: "For the first time in my career I was beaten by the atmosphere.
"I did not feel comfortable, they were too many feelings, the kick-off ovation."
