Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Real Madrid training yesterday. It was the first time he'd been with his Real teammates and coach Jose Mourinho since last Sunday's bombshell about being "sad" with the club.

Mourinho spent some minutes before the training session in quiet conversation with the former Manchester United star.

Ronaldo trained normally and Mourinho could be seen often clapping and encouraging the player.

The pair will enter crunch talks with president Florentino Perez later today.
