Ronaldo turned down bigger offers from Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers to stay with Corinthians, it has been revealed.
Globoesporte says both Tottenham and Blackburn tabled contract offers to the former World Player of the Year in the final weeks of the summer market.
But Ronaldo, with his wife expecting their second child, is happy at Corinthians, where he has rebuilt his career and is now in talks over a new contract extension.
Without naming the Premiership clubs, Ronaldo's agent, Fabiano Farah, confirmed: "It is natural that there is some interest, but Ronaldo feels very settled at Corinthians.
"He has a real family in Corinthians and is very happy ."
