Ronaldo rates Barcelona star Lionel Messi ahead of Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Real legend is a big fan of the Portuguese Ronaldo, but says he's still not superior to Messi.

"I say Messi because I think he's a little better, but also I add that Cristiano has had terrible luck. He would have been the best during many other times, but he has coincided with another major player," said Ronaldo.

"For the World Cup, Messi and Ronaldo will be the stars, though the best player of the tournament will come from the winning team."
