Real Madrid legend Ronaldo is impressed by their swoop for Toni Kroos.
Former Bayern Munich midfielder Kroos made the move last week.
"You have signed the best player from the World Cup," said Ronaldo.
Meanwhile, following his World Cup triumph, Kroos will have a few days to rest, but has been advised to put a special fitness programme in place in the week preceding his arrival for pre-season training.
