Ronaldo: Plenty of time to consider Real Madrid future

Cristiano Ronaldo has again declared he wants to stay with Real Madrid. Ronaldo insists he has no plans to leave Real and is happy to continue playing in Spain.

"I enjoy of course to play there [Real Madrid], I play there for four years so I want to continue there," Ronaldo told Sky Sports News.

"It is not the best day to speak about my future. I am going to have time to speak about that at the beginning of pre-season."

Real have previously attempted to curb the rumours about Ronaldo's future by announcing on several occasions that they intend to agree a new contract - with the player having two years left to run on his current contract.

And new coach Carlo Ancelotti recently made it clear that Ronaldo is central to his plans at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Italian boss said: "My opinion is easy. Ronaldo's a fantastic, marvellous player.

"It's an honour to coach a player like Ronaldo like it was to coach Zidane.

"Ronaldo was not on the list of players like Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane and Ronaldinho that I coached.

"He will be on the list of players I coached now and I am so happy for that."
