Real Madrid legend Ronaldo Nazario has hit out at the English media critical of Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho takes his team to Burnley under huge pressure after the club's worst start to the season since 1992.

Ronaldo told Gazzetta dello Sport, "I do not know what's going on in Manchester, but wait before criticizing Mourinho.

"He's special and he's won a lot."

Ronaldo is ready to return to European football this season as he prepares to buy into Real Valladolid.
